"Sounds in the Sanctuary Series" at the Bethlehem Hebrew Center, Bethlehem New Hampshire

Littleton Courier, NH, Laura Brown - Editorial Assistant

On Friday, August 28, at the Bethlehem Hebrew Center, pianist Marjan Kiepura and wife and narrator, Jane Knox-Kiepura, enchanted the audience with the piano works, the life and the relationships of Frederic Chopin.

The program included the works of Chopin, from the waltz, mazurka and prelude collections, which were inspired by his longing for his homeland.

The performance was passionate, uplifting and filled my soul with serenity. Marjan Kiepura plays and radiates the music of Chopin from the depth of his soul.

Jane Knox-Kiepura shared her passion for Chopin with pure elegance and grace as she detailed the life of the composer. Judging by the standing ovation that was received for the evening's performance, the audience would look favorable on a repeat performance in the days to come.
